Kristi and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary last Thursday, June 11th. It's hard to believe that we have been married for 10 years . . . since I still feel like I just got off my mission! Time has really flown by. And the best part of it is that these have been the best 10 years of my life. (And certainly, Kristi's too. Litte doubt about that!)

Last year on our 9th anniversary, I asked Kristi to describe the past 9 years of our marriage in one word. She chose to say "unexpected". My hope is that it's been "unexpected" in a good way. I'm sure I've underachieved in terms of her expectations of me, but to my great fortune we have Savannah and Justin that have absolutely outdone any and all aspirations Kristi and I had for our life together.

This year, as we sat at the Cheesecake Factory eating our anniversary dinner, I described the last 10 years as "Right". Everything has been right and turned out the right way. Kristi was the right one for me, we followed the right paths, the timing of growing our family has turned out right, the places we've lived and when we've lived there has been right. Everything has been just right...and then some.

I love you Kristi and look forward to the next 10 years!!
