Well here goes another "Month In Review" post. Here is what has happened in the last few weeks in our family...
On May 2nd Craig's youngest brother Casey got married. From my perspective everything seemed to go nice and smooth on the wedding day. He married a really cute and fun girl named Whitney who we are excited to have in the family. The following weekend was Mothers Day where Craig did an awesome job spoiling me! The biggest surprise was to find a new computer in the office playing a slide show with pictures of me and the kids. (This is the most likely reason I haven't posted in so long... I've been playing with and trying to figure out the new iMac.)
Savannah had her big dance performance this month. Since January Savannah has attended singing and dancing lessons leading up to this performance. She did a great job singing all the words and doing all the little dance moves.Later that week we decided to go on a family camp out at Five Mile Pass. We went for just one night and most of Craig's family was able to join us so it was a lot of fun. We rode and rode the ATVs and had a nice camp fire where we made deluxe s'mores. Justin got dirtier than I ever want to see again. All in all it was a fun weekend!
Last weekend I ran in the Homestead 5K hoping to finish it in under 30 minutes. I've only ran two 5Ks before and my best time was 33:30 so I was hoping to shave off a few minutes. I ended up finishing in 29:02 which I was very pleased with. It was a good course with beautiful scenery. My sister Lynne was visiting for the weekend and we left before they gave out awards so we could go shopping in Park City. Just today I found out that I placed 3rd in my age division, so if I had stayed for the awards I would have received a little "3rd Place" ribbon. Having never won anything before that little ribbon would have been pretty cool!!!
And finally, I tried taking Savannah's training wheels off and look what happened...
