A little known fact about me is that I am a Webelos Leader and have been for a little over a year. Savannah loves scouts, looks forward to Tuesdays when we have den meetings and sits right through the meeting like she is a 10 year old boy (which means sitting for about 6 minutes and then jumping around and goofing off for the remaining 54 minutes).
So I was a bit surprised today to find Savannah "playing" scouts. This is a first! She held up the American Flag and recited the Pledge of Allegiance and then to my surprise she held up the sign for the Scout Law and began to recite. I didn't see that one coming! She doesn't have it down word for word but I was very impressed by her progress. I swear this is NOT something we practice at home!!!

that is so funny! I'm surprised that Savannah is playing a "boy" game! Did she have a tiera on at the time?
She is sooo cute! good job Savannah. Who is the Webelos leader? Kristi or Craig??? I miss you guys!
well, sounds like we need to get her and Christian hanging out together so she can teach him a few things! very cute...I think she is ready for kindergarten. She seems to have nailed the basics, spells her name, counts to 10, knows her colors, recites scout oath.
Way to go Savannah! Kristi I am so proud of you teaching her at such a young age. Hopefully one day Craig will have that thing memorized too.
