We had a wonderful Christmas together here in our home. Christmas Eve was filled with sledding (complete with bloody nose), good food, "The Princess and the Frog", an attempt at giving Savannah a message about Christ and the true meaning of Christmas, to be followed by Christmas Eve gifts of sleeping bags for the entire family...which Savannah quickly let us know were "boring" gifts. Yes, this year Savannah held back no emotions on her presents. She was either over the moon or seriously underwhelmed. She did give us all the elation in the world with high pitched screams that probably disturbed even the dogs in the neighborhood when she got her Hannah Montana karaoke machine, a play kitten, a Barbie to do hair and nails on, and a jewelry kit. Justin's main gift was a GeoTrax train set and that's really all he needed. I don't think he's spent less than 4 hours per day playing with it since Christmas morning.
I attempted (you notice I "attempt" lots of things...it's the attempt that counts, right) to get Kristi a lot of clothes for Christmas. I even tried buying her 2 Sunday dresses. Yep, both of those are now safely returned to their place or origin. As are two other running articles and the Uggz. She did not, however, return the new freezer she got...since I let her pick it out. My primary gift this year was a snow plow for the ATV. This has come in very handy the last couple of days. Among a few other necessities, I also got Chad Lewis's book "Surround Yourself With Greatness". I'm very excited to read it. I know Chad from my BYU football days and he's a very inspiring person.
We hope all our wonderful friends and family also had a very Merry Christmas and we wish you all an exciting, blessed, and prosperous 2010.

Kevin is very excited you got that BYU book- he wanted it for christmas but it was too expensive- I knew someone in the family would get it though!!! Justin's nose bleed picture is so sad!!! I loved hearing about Savannah's gift commentary- I'm glad not all the gifts were as boring as sleeping bags though, lol!
I’m very jealous of the of the snow plow on your atv. I came home to over a foot of snow to shovel.
I imagine Savannah is loving her kareoke machine. She is a star!
Even with a bloody nose, Justin is so cute.
